Short Term Missions Statement
Holistic, missional disciples at Tapestry are committed to the pursuit of seeking the manifest, tangible, and personal presence of God. We are committed to the journey of becoming whole and holy, aligning our spirit, soul, and body under the lordship of Jesus Christ. As disciples, we believe that Jesus sends us to work, to find meaning in our vocation, and to pursue flourishing in our city. He sends us to the marginalized, calling us to step outside our comfort zones and meet real needs with courage and compassion. And He sends us to be friends, extending His love and presence to those around us. Every year, we go on short-term trips in intentional ways to explore what God is doing in our city and the nations. In going, we join what our God is doing, and in our going, we fervently pray, “Let Your kingdom come.”
