Life with Jesus was always meant to be shared.
Cell Ministry is a community group that meets weekly for worship, spiritual formation, meaningful relationships, and growing together as holistic missional disciples of Jesus.
Cell groups are how we practice what the New Testament envisions for a Jesus-centered community. God never intended for us to live the Christian life alone. He calls us to love, not abstractly or superficially, but in a deep, life-on-life, transformative way.
We hope you find a community of brothers and sisters who are like-minded in equally loving and pursuing God's word and his Spirit, and yet unique and diverse at the same time, seeking to love and embrace one another in radical hospitality.
Four steps to a group
Our 10-week on-ramp into the Tapestry community, and the prerequisite for joining a Cell. Undergraduates can skip ahead. Register
Meet all of the various cell groups in one place and sign up to receive more information from the ones that interest you.
Over the next two weeks, visit groups before you commit. Please visit no more than two, so every group has room.
Choose one group and settle in. Cells meet weekly from September through May, then break for the summer.

Questions
What is CELLebration Sunday?
It's your chance to meet our Cell Groups, connect with leaders, and find a group to explore for the upcoming season. Every group is in one place, so you can ask questions and sign up to hear more from the ones that interest you.
What is a Cell Group?
Cell Ministry is a community group that meets weekly for worship, spiritual formation, meaningful relationships, and growing together as holistic missional disciples of Jesus.
Who can join a Cell Group?
Cell Groups are open to anyone who has completed Rooted, our 10-week on-ramp into the Tapestry community. If you haven't completed Rooted, you'll need to do that first.
Our Fall 2026 cohort begins September 27, and registration is open now. Questions? Email rooted@tapestry.la.
Undergraduate college students do not need to complete Rooted.
How long am I committing for?
Cell Groups meet weekly for nine months, September through May, with a three-month break from June through August. Each year, members reapply for the new Cell season as we reset and recommit to our groups and one another.
How many groups can I visit?
No more than two, during the two-week Cell Exploration period. We cap it for capacity reasons, so every group stays a size where people can actually know one another.
What kinds of groups are there?
Groups are formed around life stage and season: single men and women, married men and women, mixed groups across all life stages, co-ed, pairs who are dating or engaged or married, married couples, and families with kids.
They meet across Central LA, North LA, West LA, South Bay, the San Gabriel Valley, and Orange County, plus TapCollege groups on campus at USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, LMU, and ArtCenter.
Come find your people
